TOUCHLAND Power Mist HAND SANITIZER
Think back to this time last year, I wasn’t really pay a whole lot of attention to hand sanitizers. When Touchland reached out to see if I wanted to try out their new power mister I decided to look into the company and was interested to see what was going to make this different than the other hand sanitizers on the market.
They did provide me with a couple scents to try out with no obligation for a review. I have gone through a total of 5 bottles since then. (They are recyclable fyi, I will get to that later).
Not only do I like the stylish design but also the formula. Unlike other sanitizers I have tried, this formula does not dry out my skin or make it fee oily. The mister provides a fine mist that dries very quickly as you rub your hands together.
Scents available are watermelon, fragrance free, aloe vera, lavender, forest berry, mint, citrus, vanilla cinnamon. Each retails for $12.00 on their site. If you spend a minimum of $10.00 through this link and receive 10% off your order. They also offer silicone cases for $6.00 and a variety of bundle combinations.
I have tried the citrus, watermelon, forest berry and the fragrance free. My favorite is the forest berry or citrus. The fragrance free does have a slight alcohol scent.
This is also available at Ulta for $12.00 each too. Click here to check that out (affiliate link). Target also has it available for $12.00 but has less scents available and at this time does not have the silicone case. Here are the scents at Target.
This brand/item is cruelty free and vegan. I keep forgetting to keep track but they claim that you can get 500 spritz out of one bottle.
So what makes this different? The aloe vera is what helps with the moisturizing and makes it not feel greasy there’s actually quite a few ingredients that just kind of work together to create all this so the main ingredient is ethanol alcohol do not not sure if I’m saying that right but and the FDA has classified that as a cat one active ingredient to kill 99.99% of most of the common disease-carrying germs
Radish root Vermont filtrate helps with moisturizing amazing while providing protection. Lime essential oil helps to prevent appearance of aging. We all want that right?!
Lemon essential oil which helps rejuvenate energy nourish and purifies the skin so all those kind of work together to create a non greasy quick-drying non stinky hand sanitizer.
Who is Touchland? I really like to research companies when using their products so this was no different. The founder is Andrea Liz Bona, she started in 2010 in Barcelona and she thought that she wanted to revolutionize hand sanitizers that nothing had really been done with them and she was correct and I do feel like she has because like I said the formula is so much different than any hand sanitizer.
They also dedicate five percent of their profits to sending out the solution to developing countries that have shortages of clean water so that is great as well and if you’re interested these are designed in the US and they are made in Mexico.
The size of each mister is about four inches high and almost a half wide. 1.3 fl. oz in each. The expiration date on each of the bottom of the misters.
When you are done with the bottle, you can recycle it! The bottle and the outer packaging (box and tray) are recyclable. The Power mist bottle can be recycled under the PP plastic category (number 5) and the box tray can be recycled under the PET category (number 1). You may need to check with your local recycler to confirm they accept these numbers. As number 5 is gradually being accepted by recyclers. It used to be accepted by most when China was taking all of our recycling but when China stopped taking all of our recycling that have forced some recyclers to limit which numbers they will accept. But keep checking back, my local company wasn’t accepting it but now they are. If you local Municipal doesn’t accept number 5 you can check out this website – Preserve.
Again, if you spend a minimum of $10.00 through this link and receive 10% off your order.
